  1. Here’s a question for ya: Of, say, the top 10 players of all time in the steel-shaft era–Hogan, Snead, Nelson, Palmer, Nicklaus, and Woods come to mind immediately, along with guys like Watson, Trevino, Casper, Faldo, Thomson, et al.–how many of them had “smooth” swings?

Don’t get me wrong; I love Ogilvy’s swing, a true swing motion. I’m just saying.

  2. he has a very unique swing which looks good……but the best swing in golf has to belong to ernie els. the most prettiest swing to fred couples.

  3. i’m looking at impact where you can clearly see his belt buckle pointing infront a bit but backswing i can see what your saying.

  4. comes out of it? not with that balance, coming out of it; see: Arnold Palmer. This guy does have a handsy swing, he releases his right hand hard after making impact with the ball. And his lower body is quiet on the backswing but he clears his hips very quickly before impact giving him great club head speed.

  5. i meant it in a good way, very sturdy hips on the backswing, not flopping around, big time coil for power.

  6. you have to be kidding me… his hips are explosive, they trigger his wrists – which are also extremely explosive(because of his hips)
